  2. Nick,

I’m not sure if you remember but you coached me in the spring of 2005 at the CISA clinic in International 420’s. Since that time i’ve followed your accomplishments closely and have to say that GOLD is a fitting accomplishment for not only a revered sailor but a fierce competitor and truly great man. Once again congratulations and enjoy the ride from the top of the world.

  23. Hi Nick,
I’ve been following your story for the last few weeks after I saw an article written about you in USA Today (I was on vacation in Irvine and saw it at the hotel.) Not sure if you remember me….I sailed for Cal 1986-1989 with Bryan McDonald and Seadon Wijsen. Your story is inspiring and I wish you the best.
Amazing job winning the gold in Beijing!

  24. Nick,

Dude, that is awesome. The choices you are making on what is important to you and how to live your life is already awesome, but the continued success you have on the water is like a movie.

Keep doing what you love, but also, congrats on the win.
